How SuperDS VeRO Protection Works

One listing with a protected brand name can get removed by eBay, and repeated removals can restrict or suspend the account. SuperDS VeRO protection checks your titles against a list of more than 3,000 verified brands in two places: when you import a product, and whenever you want to check a title yourself.

What is the VeRO Program?

The VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) program is eBay's way of protecting intellectual property. It lets rights owners report listings that use their trademarks, copyrights or other intellectual property. For a dropshipper, a reported listing means a removed listing, and repeated reports can lead to account restrictions or suspension. The eBay VeRO list for 2026 covers the brands most active in the program.

Check any title in the VeRO Checker

1. Open the VeRO Checker. It is in your dashboard under Tools.
2. Paste your title. There is no button to press. The check runs as you type or paste.
3. Read the result. The answer shows next to your title. No protected brands in green means nothing on the list matched. A red count means brands were found, and each one is highlighted inside your title so you can see exactly which words to take out.

The checker matches whole brand names, not only single words. Names of two and three words are caught, and so is the same name written with a hyphen.

Protection while you import

You do not have to remember to check. When you list a product on eBay or save it as a draft from a supplier page with the SuperDS extension, the title and the brand are checked first. If a brand from the VeRO list is found, SuperDS stops and shows a VeRO alert in the side panel with the brand it found. Click Cancel to skip the product, or Upload only if you have the right to sell that brand.

Report a missing brand

Found a brand that got a listing removed and is not on the list? Type its name in the box under the checker (one word, letters only) and press Report brand. Our team reviews every report before the brand is added, and Recently added shows the newest ones.

Good to know

• The list is built by SuperDS from brands sellers reported and our team verified. It is not published by eBay and it cannot be complete, so a clean result means no brand on our list matched. It is not a guarantee from eBay.
• The checker reads the title you paste. The check on import also reads the product's brand field.
• If you edit a title after importing, run it through the checker again before you list.
• The Product Finder leaves out products whose titles match the list, so they never reach your orders.
